7 x British Blues Award winner Dom Martin has been compared many times to Rory Gallagher. Also coming from Ireland they both have the same roots and Rory has always been one of Dom's musical heroes.
Dom will always slip a few Rory songs in his set as memory to one of the greatest guitar players that ever lived.

In 2023 Dom was asked by Joe Bonamassa to come and play a set of Rory Gallagher's music on The Mediterranean Blues Cruise to the pleasure of many.

The family of Rory invited Dom to come to the auction in 2024 at Bonhams were all the guitars and amps were auctioned and asked that he could play a set of Rory Gallagher's songs to celebrate his legacy. There Dom had the chance to play on some guitars that belonged to Rory and said the moment was magical to him!

So the Idea came to start a new project celebrating the music of this legend.

The Name "A Taste of Rory" by Dom Martin was chosen to reference to the music of Rory as solo artist but also his years with Taste.

So be ready for this Celebration of Legendary music played by one of the best.
